The Council of American Overseas Research Centers (CAORC) and the Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) are hosting an online symposium: 'Going Global, Growing Global: New Models for Internationalization at Community Colleges,' on April 8 - 9, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 pm EST.
This online symposium brings together faculty, administrators, and organizations involved in community college international education to discuss how today’s unprecedented challenges require educators to re-imagine the relevance, priorities, and methods of their internationalization efforts. Special attention will be given to the critical importance of enhancing global and intercultural competency through curriculum development, engaging international students and overseas campuses in growing global awareness, and the essential role of on-line technology and virtual exchange in broadening access to global experiences.
