    U.S. Doctoral Students Attend Language Program in Iran

    Four U.S. doctoral students attended the summer Persian language session at the Sa'di Foundation in Tehran, Iran. Along with six days of coursework per week, students were taken on field trips to cultural sites and locations in and outside Tehran.     Film screening of "The Killing Fields of Dr. Haing S. Ngor" in Cambodia

    This latest documentary by American documentarian Arthur Dong is based on the autobiography of Dr. Haing Ngor, who survived the Khmer Rouge genocide under harrowing conditions, and went on to act in a movie on the subject: The Killing Fields.     On August 17th, the fourth shipment of 10,000 new books arrived at the American Center for Mongolian Studies (ACMS) headquarters.     ACOR Director Participates in Special Visit to Umm al Jimal by U.S. Ambassador to Jordan
