CAORC is pleased to welcome the Inya Institute as the newest member of the Overseas Research Center family. Inya is a Yangon-based higher learning institute dedicated to advancing the social sciences, arts and humanities as they are related to Myanmar (Burma).
Inya seeks to build research and intellectual capacity for young local researchers, to foster scholarly exchange between local and international researchers, and to create original scholarship for international and local scholars. It further aims to raise the general public’s understanding of the country’s multi-faceted cultural legacy.
