New Edition of ANHS Journal "Himalaya" Reflects on 2015 Nepal Earthquakes

Himalaya Journal

Did you know the Association for Nepal and Himalayan Studies (ANHS) publishes an academic journal?

Himalaya is a biannual, open-access, peer-reviewed journal. Truly interdisciplinary and transregional in scope, Himalaya is committed to covering all aspects of Himalayan Studies, including the natural and social sciences, humanities, and creative arts.

The latest edition, published in fall 2017, was devoted to reflections on the 2015 Nepal earthquakes. Research articles discussed hydropower and the production of scientific knowledge; a field-based study of the earthquake's impacts on glacial lakes; and the process of founding a volunteer relief initiative in post-earthquake Nepal.

As an open-access journal, Himalaya is available to the public for free. To read the latest issue, visit https://himalayajournal.org/.
