CAORC offers two fellowship programs, the NEH Senior Research Fellowship and Multi-Country Research Fellowship, which allow fellows to visit and carry out research within our network of Overseas Research Centers.
The NEH Senior Research Fellowship supports advanced research in the humanities for U.S. postdoctoral scholars, and foreign national postdoctoral scholars who have been residents in the US for three or more years.
The Multi-Country Fellowship Program supports advanced regional or trans-regional research in the humanities, social sciences, or allied natural sciences for U.S. doctoral candidates and scholars who have already earned their Ph.D. Preference will be given to candidates examining comparative and/or cross-regional research. Applicants are eligible to apply as individuals or in teams.
The application deadline for both fellowship programs is January 31, 2018.

In addition to CAORC fellowships, each Overseas Research Center (ORC) offers fellowships and grant opportunities specific to its region of focus. View a list of open competitions here. Always check with the ORC directly for the most current information.
