    Congratulations to the American Center of Oriental Research (ACOR) and their Temple of the Winged Lions (TWLCRM) project for being awarded a second grant from the Ambassador's Fund for Cultural Preservation! In a ceremony at Petra, U.S. Ambassador to Jordan Alice G. Wells launched a grant awarded under the Department of State’s Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) to expand conservation of the Temple of the Winged Lions.     In a bid to better utilize the Albright's ample grounds, preliminary work began this summer on an outdoor archaeological laboratory on the former tennis court, at the eastern edge of the property.     ACMS Hosts ROTC Mongolian Cultural Interpretation Field Workshop

    The American Center for Mongolian Studies (ACMS) in Ulaanbaatar, under the leadership and guidance of the ACMS General Manager Baigalmaa Begsuren, hosted a seven day education field workshop with 19 ROTC officer cadets and senior officers.
