From Tuesday, March 15 to Saturday, March 19, the West African Research Center (WARC) was embellished and beautified by the various paintings and artefacts exhibited in its premises by the Dakar Women's Group, an association grouping expatriate women—spouses of members of diplomatic representatives in Dakar and women executives working with international organisations in Dakar. A large number of Senegalese nationals and expatriates visited the premises of WARC to admire the beautiful artistic products displayed in the Center. The various pieces exhibited included both works of Senegalese painters and of women belonging to the Group. To further popularize the Center with the public, the management of WARC distributed leaflets and brochures on its activities.
