Cyprus American Archaeological Research Institute Hosts Iranian Researcher
The Cyprus American Archaeological Research Institute (CAARI) recently hosted an Iranian researcher. Ms. Hale Moharramzadeh, a graduate student at Bergen University in Norway, came to Cyprus to investigate the Persian presence on the island in the 5th century B.C. “I chose CAARI because the library is fantastic and the people are open and welcoming. I really enjoyed getting to know some of the American students here. It was a rare opportunity for me to meet them.” Moharramzadeh’s visit not only facilitated her work, but also helped foster American-Iranian relations.
