Christians, Jews and Moslems Participate in Albright’s Traditional Winter Holiday Luncheon in Jerusalem
Fifty Christian, Jewish and Moslem scholars and their families participated in the W.F. Albright Institute of Archaeological Research’s (AIAR) Appointees’ Winter Holiday Luncheon on December 25. Albright cook, Hisham M’farrah’s fantastic zatar rolls were followed by the traditional turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, salad and a special Christmas pudding; and Albright Director, Sy Gitin led the singing of well-loved holiday carols. In this ecumenical spirit, the Albright Fellows transcended political and religious differences and celebrated their hope for a New Year of peace and good will.
